A sacred space to remember, honor, and grieve.

At Union Congregational Church, we believe that every life is worthy of honor and remembrance. Whether you are planning ahead or responding to a recent loss, we are here to offer compassion, comfort, and guidance during one of life’s most tender seasons.

A Christian Service of Hope

Planning a Service

We welcome inquiries from church members and non-members alike. Services may be held in our sanctuary or chapel, or off-site at a funeral home.

To begin planning:
Call the church office: 603-924-3272
Contact Pastor Bob

If you’re working with a funeral home, they will coordinate directly with the pastor and our office. If not, we will guide you through next steps and confirm details personally.

What to Expect

  • Pastoral Support: Rev. Dr. Robert Marrone will meet with your family to help plan a meaningful service.
  • Music: Our organist provides music for services. Guest musicians may be invited with approval.
  • Bulletins: We can produce a printed bulletin or work with you if you’d prefer to create your own.
  • Casket: Caskets remain closed during services held in the sanctuary.
  • Service Content: Scripture, readings, music, and eulogies are thoughtfully selected with your input.
  • Military/fraternal rites: These are typically held graveside or off-site but may be considered at the pastor’s discretion.
